For California real estate agents · pilot
Make insurance part of the listing
Buyers and sellers in wildfire-exposed areas increasingly ask about insurance before they ask about price. The insurance-readiness snapshot puts the public signals for a ZIP code or an address on one printable page, so the question is on the table early rather than late in escrow.
Who this is for
California real estate agents whose buyers or sellers ask about wildfire-area home insurance, the FAIR Plan, or what happens if a carrier does not renew.
What the snapshot contains
ACTUAL- CAL FIRE fire hazard severity zone for the address.
- FEMA flood zone and CGS earthquake hazard zones for the address.
- USFS wildfire exposure class for the address.
- California FAIR Plan owner-occupied average premium and low, medium, and high bands for the ZIP, as of March 31, 2026, plus the five-year policy-count trend.
- California Department of Insurance distressed and undermarketed designations for the ZIP.
- Active CDI non-renewal moratoria for the ZIP, checked on the day you view it.
- A checklist of documents a broker will typically ask for.
Every figure shows its public source and date. Address lookups run in your browser and the address is never placed in a link or stored by this site. See about the data.
How it helps
The goal is fewer surprises late in escrow. A client who has already seen the hazard signals and the usual fallback options can speak to a licensed broker sooner and with better questions. The snapshot says nothing about whether any carrier will write a particular property.
Pilot stage
This is early. We are not offering volume, pricing, or terms here, and there are no referral payments to real estate agents. The form below tells us who you are and where you work, and we will email you about the pilot.
Estimates, not quotes. Who Will Insure is not a licensed insurance agent or broker and does not sell, quote, bind, or issue insurance policies. Nothing here is insurance advice. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.

Frequently asked
Is this a quote or insurance advice?
No. The snapshot is information drawn from public records. It is not a quote, an offer of coverage, or insurance advice, and it does not replace a conversation with a licensed insurance agent or broker.
Does it tell me whether a property can be insured?
No. Carriers decide that, property by property. The snapshot shows public hazard signals for the location and the typical fallback options, such as the California FAIR Plan, so that you and your client know what to ask a licensed broker.
Do you pay or charge agents?
No. Nothing is published or offered on this page: no fees, no pricing, and no referral payments to real estate agents. The form only tells us who you are so we can contact you about the pilot.
How current is the data?
Each figure in the snapshot carries its source and an as-of date. FAIR Plan ZIP averages are as of March 31, 2026 and predate the rate increase that took effect October 15, 2026. Non-renewal moratoria are checked against today's date every time the page is viewed.
What do you do with the details I submit?
The form is emailed to the site operator and is not saved in a database or file on our side. It is used only to contact you about the pilot. See the Privacy Policy.
Are you an insurance agent or broker?
No. We are not a licensed insurance agent or broker. We never quote or bind coverage, and we do not give insurance advice.
